Emotional and Social Considerations Are Influencing Buying Behaviour of Green Energy Consumer

Image
By: Nur 'Inayah Green energy has gained considerable research attention around the globe due to its ability to reduce environmental damage. However, even public policies are not necessary for full adoption of renewable energy; customers should be able to use green energy and contribute to environmental well-being. This ability will be increased by increasing the relative importance of renewable energy for customers. To do so, though, the current levels of perceived demand for green energy by customers have to be measured. Emotional and social considerations have been identified to be the main influence for buying behaviour of green energy consumer. A study has revealed that — it is not only the financial aspects that lead consumers to decide on adoption of green energy. Thus, government may devise pro-green energy policies and mass messaging that cater to consumers' sense of obligation to implement renewable energy on a voluntary basis without having to focus on financial rewar

A magical dot over in the corner.

Watching Hiyao Miyazaki's "Spirited Away" for the third time, I was struck by a quality between generosity and love. On earlier the views I was caught up by the boundless imagination of the story. This time I began to focus on the elements in the picture that didn't need to be there. The animation is a painstaking process, and there is a tendency to simplify its visual elements. Miyazaki, in contrast, offers complexity. His backgrounds are rich in detail, his canvas embraces space liberally, and it is all drawn with meticulous attention. We may not pay much conscious attention to the corners of the frame, but we know they are there, and they reinforce the remarkable precision of his fantasy worlds. "Spirited Away" is surely one of the finest of all animated films, and it has its foundation in the traditional bedrock of animation, which is frame-by-frame drawing. Miyazaki began his career in that style, but he is a realist and has permitted the use

Monsoon rains hit South Asia, replacing millions of people

Image
( source News Straits Times ) DHAKA:   Across southern Asia, more than four million people have been hit by major floods due to monsoon floods that destroyed homes and structures, drowning entire villages and forcing people to crouch on the roof in hopes of saving. The monsoon season usually June to September brings heavy rains, floods that are crucial for South Asia's agrarian economy. But in recent years, the monsoon season has brought more hurricanes and catastrophic floods, resulting in the internal displacement of millions of people in low-lying areas, especially in Bangladesh. Last year, at least 600 people were killed and more than 25 million were affected by the floods due to the monsoon rains that hit Bangladesh, India, Myanmar and Nepal, according to the UN. And in 2017, more than 1,000 people died in floods across South Asia. The heaviest rainfall this year is in north-eastern India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar and Nepal, according to the Sout

The parliamentary session is expected to be the 'hottest', the Speaker changes according to the Constitution.

(Source from malaysiakini.com ) KUALA LUMPUR:  The motion to change the Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat tomorrow is a constitutional process that has always been practiced before. Lawyer Datuk Salehuddin Saidin, however, said that the situation of the Speaker's change tomorrow is the first time in history not in the period after the General Election (GE). "In our country, there has never been a change of Speaker in the middle, not after  the GE. Usually, the change of Speaker occurs when the election and the House (People) reconvene, but this is in the middle when ... only two years old government has changed with the new government of the National Alliance (PN) already has a motion to change the Speaker. "This is a constitutional process that allows the appointment of a Speaker, even the rules of the Dewan Rakyat provide for a newly appointed Speaker and how to set aside the Speaker (who is) serving. "I do not see this as a strange thing, as

OMG! Peanuts Aren’t Actually Nuts? Really? Here Is Why.

Image
This is totally nutty intended. It’s no lie that people are nuts about nuts and for good reason, too. These tiny but mighty snacks pack a huge punch, helping you fight heart disease and boost your brainpower. And we’re willing to bet that you probably reach for peanuts when your tummy rumbles. As a matter of fact, the average people of American eat three pounds of peanut butter a year. That said, there’s nothing wrong with having a low-key passion for peanuts. They literally have the word “nut” in them, so there’s nothing to fear, right? Not so fast. Turns out, peanuts have been masquerading as nuts this whole time. If you want to get technical about it, peanuts are actually considered legumes. While real nuts grow on trees, peanuts grow in pods that mature underground; other types of legumes, such as lentils and peas, also grow beneath the surface. Additional nut frauds include cashews, walnuts, pistachios, and almonds. Botanically speaking, they are classified as seeds

They sport beards The centerpiece of many a Thanksgiving table once sported a beard? Well, sort of. The hairlike bristles that grow from the chests of male turkeys (or gobblers) and some hens are actually specialized feathers called meso filoplumes that grow from a single follicle. They can be lengthy, with some bird beards touching the ground, though feeding tends to wear down the ends. Some birds have two gobblers with a whopping eight beards have been spotted, according to the Game Commission, though of the 10 percent of multiple-bearded turkeys, most have just two. Perkara Pandemik Mengajar Saya Tentang Perancangan.
