Bretman Rock: A Rising Star

For those of you who often watch makeup tutorial videos on YouTube, of course you are no stranger to this one guy, right? The guy whose makeup ability that is beyond amazing: Bretman Rock. This Filipino-blooded guy are so funny, you will never get bored of him. No wonder he has a lot of fans!


At a relatively young age, he has already shown his unusual talent. Makeup does not limit a gender, but this funny guy chose to be a Make Up Artist (MUA). He is very reliable at playing with contouring techniques like Kim Kardashian. Not only that, Bretman also has thick voluminous lips like Kylie Jenner.

He is also a famous Youtuber and an Instagram celebrity. The 21-year-old quickly became the focus of attention in cyberspace after he uploaded a makeup tutorial on Youtube entitled 'How to Contour.' Now he succeeds in becoming a MUA and befriends other famous MUAs such as Patrick Star, Manny and Jeffree Star.


Bretman often reminded the fans that he is just a normal teenager that is currently living life just like everyone else but to his followers, he is an entertainer and a makeup guru. Some of Bretman's videos contents are tutorials on how to make thick eyebrows, how to highlight and other makeup techniques that wins the heart of many.

His videos on Instagram is also packed in his silly style. In addition to teaching makeup techniques, the men who always appear with thick and neat eyebrows also give out other funny tips. For example, he vented to face haters or what he did when he was late for school, in a funny way of course!

By: Nur 'Inayah On September 28, 1980, an article appeared in the Washington Post told a very sad story about the life of Jimmy, a young boy who had become a victim of the thriving heroin trade that was devastating the low-income neighbourhoods of Washington D.C. Jimmy who was caught in a cycle of addiction, violence and despair had  become a heroine addict after being introduced by his mother’s live-in boyfriend. Janet Cooke, the author of the article wrote that Jimmy is an 8-year-old boy with a third-generation heroin addict. He described him as a precocious little boy with sandy hair, velvety brown eyes and needle marks freckling the baby-smooth skin of his thin brown arms.
