Baling Member of Parliament, Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim then continued: "Tanya Atuk (referring to Dr Mahathir) kenapa dia letak jawatan?" "Boleh mencelah? Syed Saddiq asked before Noh once again interrupted: "Bagi cucu, cucu nak mencelah."
The way Syed Saddiq was ridiculed and belittled in Parliament is a testament to how the views and opinions of youths are often abandoned and ignored by the older generation. Let the youth take over and bring Malaysia to a better place.
The people chose them to convey the voice of the people but why is the voice of the people disturbed by these dissenting voices? Since the morning, the conference was tumultuous and the voices of 'attacking and being attacked' came from both the opposition and the government, regardless of age. The Dewan Rakyat sitting which took place on Monday recorded various new histories including the appointment of the new Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun. Former Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said was the first woman to be appointed as the Deputy Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat.
