Depression can not only be seen through an individual's mood swings or emotions. In fact, it can also be seen through your physical changes. Depression is different from stress. Depression should not be left alone as it can cause mental disorders.

If you are experiencing these changes in your physique, it may be a sign that you are experiencing depression. So, you need to be careful and immediately see a specialist doctor if the symptoms are getting worse.

1. Late Menstruation

Excessive stress can affect your menstrual cycle and cause it to come late. Worse if it makes your period continue to stop and does not come at all. The brain knows the signs of your unhealthy physical and mental state.

2. Hair Loss Problems

Hair growth is also related to mood and self-confidence. If your body is not in good condition, then it will inhibit hair growth so that it is not able to grow normally.

3. Headache

Almost everyone experiences headaches. However, frequent and excessive headaches are a sign that the symptoms are getting more serious. Depression can have negative effects on health. If your headache problem persists, it is advisable to see a doctor immediately.

4. Weight Gain

Depression can also affect weight gain. Studies have also found that people who are always sad and lonely will gain weight faster than those who suffer from mild depression. During depression, an individual tends to eat more foods that contain fat, are high in calories and do less physical activity. That is why weight gain will increase faster.
